Pictured: The Odd Fellows Lodge, located at 342 Georgia Street, was constructed in 1872. The third and fourth floors were added in 1922 as part of a face-lift which replaced the original ornamentation with a smooth facing. The City of Paris occupied the first floor during World War II.
William Townsend Stanford (1867-1964) was named Vallejo's first Chief of Police on April 4th, 1900. He was a Mare Island Naval Shipyard mechanic with no prior law enforcement experience.
